If you're in London and haven't yet had the experience of going to Speakers' Corner, do yourself a favor and get on that. It's weird, sometimes disturbing, but rich in history and a great way to pass an hour or so on a Sunday morning.
Hey, any venue in which you can quite literally get on your soapbox and yell at/with people, that's going to make for an interesting time, right?

OMG. I need to go. I LOVE yelling at people.
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous photos - I love that you seem to pinpoint such interesting locations from all around the globe!
ReplyDeleteI don't see a photo of YOU on a soapbox yelling at people. How disappointing... ;)
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I have wanted to go here ever since I saw it on Religulous! The Bill Maher documentary on religion.

Is it terribly ignorant of me that the first place I heard of this was on The Bachelorette? One of the personality-less guys (who is now "winning hearts" as the Bachelor) got up and made me cringe by giving some awful speech about love. I would love to see this place when actual people with thoughts utilize it!
