Yesterday I popped over to Rebecca's (gorgeous) flat for an Inauguration 2013 party! My first reaction when I walked in? "Girl, you live in a Pinterest Board."
She's done SUCH an amazing job with her space and she put on an awesome get together for a bunch of us expats to watch the President and Vice President get sworn in for their second terms.
Ever the wonderful host, she also came up with a prosecco cocktail in honor of the occasion!

The DC Cherry Blossom:
+ (1) shot cherry juice
+ (1) shot cranberry juice
+ Splash of elderflower syrup
+ Finish with sparkling wine
+ Enjoy!
Happy Tuesday!

Such a lovely spread she set up for you guys! I watched Obama's Inauguration this time thru alone at home on my laptop with my coffee but my older sister Tohav and I texted back and forth the entire time so it was cool.
ReplyDeleteI think it is so cool to watch people who don't live in America celebrate Obama's inauguration. It warms the spirit to see people maybe hating America a tiny bit less.

Ha! A Pinterest board indeed! It looks like a lovely party and I'm so glad you were able to watch the inauguration. A good day to be an American (even if you're across the pond).
