I wanted each of my Rome posts to live in the neighborhood of informative – with helpful links of places to go and things to see – but sometimes it's fun to just post pictures of what you did and where you were with little context other than: it was amazing! (See also: Instagram's business model.)
So, that's what's going on here today. We almost didn't visit the Forum (rain, time crunch, couldn't find the ticketing area to save our lives), but I really would have regretted it had we not made the effort and committed to wandering until we found it. I got to geek out and drag Ryan along while trying to teach him things – "That's where Caesar was murdered!", "Have I ever told you the story of why people clink glasses when they toast? It has to do with where we're standing right now!". Poor guy.
I'll remember this trip forever, but I won't make you read about it forever, I don't think there's thaaaaat much left! ;)
