blogger book swap!

Wednesday, January 2, 2013

I have such a fun announcement for you guys today!

When Kimberly asked me if I'd like to co-host a Blogger Book Swap my immediate reaction was, "Duh, that sounds amazing. Sign me up!" I love recommending books to my family and friends and get some serious joy from seeing their reactions to what they're reading, so it fits that I'd jump at an opportunity to get to know another book loving blogger through a book swap!

This year, I've put up a new reading list page (here) and FINALLY signed up for a Goodreads account (here). I'm rolling my eyes hard at that last bit, too. I can't believe it's taken me so long! I'm loving it so far and know that it will be a nice partner to my reading list page and Bookish series to update the world (okay, just my mom) on what I'm reading!

Click through for more information on the swap and to sign up!

How it works:

+ Sign up using the google docs form below (you have until January 12).
+ Grab the button and put it in your sidebar.
+ Blog, Tweet, Facebook, hell, Instagram it to spread the word!
+ Wait for the email with details about your buddy and their reading habits.
+ Send along a book and any book-related paraphernalia you think your buddy might like (used books are okay)!
+ Receive your book and get to reading!

Easy, right?

Thank you so much, Kimberly, for asking me to be a part of such an awesome project! I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's posts and finding some great new blogs to read! If you'd like to visit the other hosts, here are there blogs: Nicole, Daliene, Lesley, and another Nicole.

Happy reading and happy Tuesday!

  1. So fun! I wish I had time to read fun stuff right now. :( I guess an MBA is a good investment, though.

  2. One would think this sounds like a natural things for me to participate in but I'm going to pass at this time. My graduate course starts in a week. So I should probably finish Lolita and pick up my course book on Andrew Carnegie!

  5. omg. this is my dream blog project. I'm so in.

I'm also glad to see there's someone else out there who didn't think The Fault in Our Stars was the greatest thing to happen ever. I mean, I liked it, but it wasn't my best book of the year by far.

I love hearing from you! I try to respond to comments by email, so if your email address isn't linked up to your profile I might have a hard time getting back to you (although I'll do my best to try). Of course, if you'd like to maintain your ninja status, I totally understand that as well!
